I see a vixen in the woman. Looking out for number one, which is herself. The purple hue that dominates the scene only goes to accent her ability to read people very well as that vixen. She knows what people want and isn't afraid to use that knowledge for fulfilling her own wants. I think the woman wants to portray that she is tough minded and is in control of herself and her surroundings. On the other hand it does isolate her from everyone else. Gaining little friends from her actions. Although she is strong and independat her strong willed looks betray her sorrowfulness and loneliness. Especially from her eyes. It may be from a trama filled childhood, the person she loved deeply wounded her, or from a various other things that has happened in her past. But in the end it is something that has happened in her past that is still haunting her in the present. No matter how hard she tries to hide it. Overall I like how you bring everything together in this scene. The purple hue just adds to the emotion and loneliness of the piece. The maturity and the sorrowfulness. And the fear of trusting one's own self to love and live.
